Proton Energy Systems recently announced it is now offering extended limited warranty plans for new sales of its HOGEN GC 300 cc/minute and 600 cc/minute laboratory hydrogen generators. Proton said the new plans complement the company's standard two-year limited warranty for the hydrogen systems.

According to Proton, the plans may be purchased in one-year increments, with laboratories now having the option to select a one- or two-year limited warranty extension under two service levels -- the Silver Plan or the Gold Plan.

"These extended warranty options provide an extra dimension of confidence to separation science professionals who rely on the HOGEN GC as a critical part of their lab's equipment," said Proton laboratory products manager Stephen Szymanski. "Under these new plans, for a minimal fee, Proton will provide a replacement unit to the customer while their unit is being serviced."
